Interior Design Portfolio

Contemporary Kitchen

Earthy, Neutral, & Warm

The main intentions of this kitchen E-Design were to modernize a basic builder grade kitchen. I changed the white cabinets to a cream, added brass accents, created waterfall quartzite counters, and kept the original appliances for budget purposes.

Modern Scandinavian Living Room

Functional and Inspired

Originally, this wall was just a mounted TV and a separate fireplace. I created a built in with the stone that went all the way into the vaulted cut out of the ceiling for flow and intention. I also continued to frame the TV/fireplace by adding symmetry on both sides with mirrors to reflect light and I added floor vases for depth.

Coastal Scandinavian Living Room

Minimal and Relaxing

This room is a coastal approach to the design before. The introduction of blues in the color scheme creates a calming environment along with the portraits of a beach on a cloudy day. The rug provides movement and pattern in the space while the sofa remains pared down. The introduction of soccer portraits reflects the homeowner’s hobby, while remaining in the neutral color palette.

Contemporary Scandinavian Living Room

Earthy, Neutral, and Warm

This room had the space for a large sectional to accommodate a more relaxed lifestyle, while still feeling modern. Neutrals are a favorite here with black and brass accent finishes and warmth added with the floor, accent chairs, and lighting placement.

Warm Scandinavian Bedroom

Warm, Cozy, and Textured

With an attempt to re-use an old headboard (that was not in the budget to replace), I created unity with the dark grey by incorporating the black side lamps and black detailing in the lumbar pillow. The room has symmetry with the wide nightstands/lamps and is grounded by a patterned rug to contrast the simple bedding.
